  1. Posting every day.  This seems simple but many business owners fail to do this or delegate the task.  Posting Monday through Friday is the minimum standard.  The more you post, the more the platforms will push your organic reach.
  2. Boost some posts.  Take posts that you find really impactful and boost them.  For a defined fee you can amp up your exposure while controlling the cost.  New eyeballs lead to brand recognition and new followers.
  3. Posts that educate.  IBIS Technology is a Cloud Service Provider.  For some people this sounds like YADA-YADA-YADA.  So educational posts are vital to our strategy.  We usually pose questions that help our ideal customer see their problems in the post.  “What would you do if a hurricane hit your business and your server?” “What happens if your employee loses their work laptop?” “Have you thought about hiring a remote employee?”  When we create easy to understand scenarios that capture attention quickly, we are more likely to get someone reading the rest of our post.
  4. Community!! Taking pictures at business events and tagging our partnerships shows multiple things for a company like IBIS Technology.  We have fun.  We are real people.  We are here to make an impact in our community.
  5. Blogs!!  We love using blogs.  They can be linked over and over and help further explain our posts.  They give us the ability to lead in our niche and educate our end users.
  6. Video!!  This serves multiple purposes.  For one social media platforms favor video.   It helps humanize our technology driven product.  It also helps explain the solutions we offer in layman’s terms.  We can be funny. 
  7. We sponsored events and advertised them.  Another way we wanted to humanize our brand more is by hosting a happy hour in our local area targeting niche audiences.  This gave us an opportunity to partner with the restaurant we were hosting the event at.  It allowed us to increase our brand to not only the people that attended, but their friends who saw them at OUR event.  The advertisements, of course, increased our reach for a defined return on investment.
  8. Pictures!! Posts with pictures get better traction and capture attention.  We use a combination of paid stock photos and free ones to help illustrate our posts.  We re-purpose pictures from time to time to get more traction out of our paid assets.
  9. Getting our posts shared by our employees. We make sure to encourage our staff to share our posts. Posts from individual accounts get more traction and we get access to our team’s followers.
  10.  Sending invites. We made conscious choices when we invited our personal followers but, we used the leverage of our relationships to invite our friends to check out our page. 

These tactics helped to put a solid foundation and trajectory in place for long-term, sustained growth. More importantly, this resulted in creating a following to generate more brand awareness and leads to support revenue growth.
